Greetings,
Both neurontin and zoloft are part of my Parkinson medication. I know
they were asked about seperatly but I would like to tell my experience with
them.
Neurontin i take 400 mg 4 times a day. It was mainly for my restless leg
syndrom. I would say that it was not effective for the RLS, because I had
spells where I don't think it could be worse. When I started my Mirapex
medication the RLS eased up,so that I am in control of it now. Since I
started Mirapex I can tell when I am due for medication.
The Zoloft 50mg 3 daily. It is mainly for depression. Everybody says that
they don't need it. I was the same way.I think that you can be depressed
without knowing it. For me the Zoloft gently smoothed everything over - I
was able to look at things in a brighter light - mountains became mole
hills.
If this helps somebody great! My neuro might have other reasons for
putting me on these medications but for the things that were bothering me
they did their jobs with out any noticeble side effects.
