I Have been told that over (some large number)% of communication is non- verbal. That makes PWPs illiterate in the realm of everyday spoken communication. I hate to admit that several years ago, I caught myself doing the same thing to a gentleman who was symptomatic with PD. Also, I think that, at some subconscious level, the blank stare demonstrates a lack of intelligence to normal folk. regards, wHH 54/18
