This Sunday, June 7, 1998, NPF's Washington Counsel Larry Hoffheimer will be featured in a five minute interview on a public affairs tv show entitled "Capitol Conversation." The subject matter discussed will be the competition between different disease groups for limited federal funding for disease research, various solutions to the problems that competition causes, and the efforts of the Parkinson community to seek support for additional research dollars. "Capitol Conversation," filmed in Washington, which airs on three major networks in Texas every Sunday, is hosted by Caroline Presutti and the Washington bureau Chief for the Dallas Morning News, Carl Leubsdorf. Larry will focus directly on issues facing the Parkinson's community. The show will air on: CBS-Houston (Ch.11) at 5:30 p.m. ABC-Dallas (Ch.8) at 11:30 a.m. immediately following "This Week with Sam and Cokie" CBS-San Antonio at 5:30 a.m. (check local listings for channel).
