Ivan, if this doesn't work, how about stirring up ( waking up?) Vice President Gore? Clinton is just about 3/4 done with his two terms, and with Gore the heir apparent he may welcome the opportunity to have an issue to get involved with on the side. The press has got to start paying more attention to him soon and might welcome his involvement in something that would enable them to shine a positive light on him. I think the last coverage he had was the report on his charitable contributions. He also occupies the only office in government that has a role and an office in two different branches. He very well might be closer to the Congressman because of that, and because he had been one as Senator from TN. He undoubtedly knows former Sen. Powell eel and his situation, as well as Mr.Udall He also might know the other (?) Representatives who have it. With all the crud Bubba is dealing with right now maybe he would like get involved with PD. But if he doesn't why not try the VP?
