It is my great pleasure to announce that Mrs. Gerry Haines from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is the winner of this year's Sidney Dorros Memorial Award. In addition to the national recognition for her outstanding work in the Parkinson community, Gerry received a check for $5,000.00 from the National Parkinson Foundation. I met Gerry and her family on June 9 (Sid's birthday) in Philadelphia to present the award. She plans to use some of her award money to buy a new computer so she can join us online.
