I, too, remember WWII most vividly.  I am a survivor, and now a
volunteer at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum which is the premium
center of information in the world on the subject. My story as well as
thousands of others are now housed there.
And I have been grateful to my country of choice ever since I came here
and every day should be a day of Thanksgiving for a wonderful wife and
great offsprings. Incidentally, in about 24 hrs. (the 21st), we'll be
celebrating our 41st anniversary, Barb with her dyskenesia and me with
my coronary scars.
But as B.J. from the French group constantly claims with reason:
la vie est belle!
