Dear Gail,
Thanks very much for your prompt reply to my request for help.
We will take your advice and try a urologist.
We had asked Aliza's GP about a urologist and she didn't think it
worthwhile.
We did see a nephrologist last week and he recommended a change in diuretic
to one which does not drain potassium(aldactone).Aliza is trying it.
We consulted with a physical therapist who uses biofeedback to help bladder
control.
We haven't continued since shortly afterwards,Aliza fell and fractured her
elbow.
The cast was removed a week ago and yesterday am,Aliza fell again , gashed
her arm,
and bruised her ribs. The combination of orthostatic hypotension and PD lack
of balance
does this to her;particularly in the mornings on the way to the bathroom
which she does
very frequently.
Thanks again.
Warm regards.
Gil
