One and a half tablets every three hours (6 a.m. to 6 p.m).With each dose he also gets o.25 mg. of Xanax to keep him less "restless". CR Sinemet did not work for him. I personally have been seeing a "grief counselor" for the past three years---extremely helpful in that I can face reality better than I could at the start. The biggest problem I believe I have is my husband. (not a joke). He refuses to accept his illness---just ignores any emotional or physical help(exercise, etc.) We have tried psychologists and psychiatrists, but to no avail. He just won't talk to anyone. He is easier to live with now that they have stopped all the new meds. Seems the Sinemet does the job--at least for now. As for support groups, there is only one in our area, and he won't join me. I gave it the old college try, but the answer is still NO! Camilla, thanks for the address of the CG group. I will certainly join---sounds like a good place to be. Also, thanks for the term "bradyphenia". No doctor has ever mentioned the word, and it explains some of what he has. Dementia comes from many causes, and I'll fight to the end to find out all I can about it. To all of you out there, again thanks. We'll talk again. Marilyn --part0_898451724_boundary--
