Hello Barb,

I do not know of what tissue porcine valves consist, but in the case of the
"pig-cell" implant the tissue consists of fetal tissue. Therefor these cells
are multiplying very fast and are copying the DNA-structure. Some virusses
can attach to DNA, so when the cells multiply, the virusses multiply too,
meanwhile disturbing the correct copying and causing mistakes in the next
generation cells' DNA structure.
