Gina, you have to be lucky to have the new stuff work. I bought twoi tape decks and both are faultless. I bought one years ago, which had several problems, so bad, they extended the warranty an extra two years, at no charge...a week after the second warranty was up, the motor burnt out! BTW, if you have a enough CDs to fill the 200 disc unit, you don't have to hear many songs repeating!! Enjoy the new equipment, and try to get the service contract, then you'll be able to relax!
