Yes, humor does need to be a part of living with PD. PD is only part of a person's life, and there are other aspects which are worth exploring and getting to know. We learned this back when I was in teacher training for teaching students with disabilities. Instead of calling it PC, we called it Person First language. We used to refer to my cousin who has Down's Syndrome as mongoloid. Now, we refer to him as a young man who has Down's Syndrome. It just makes the person with the disability more human in other people's eyes. Trish
