Martin,

I suffered from bad cramping in my feet and legs at night. Fairly common
problem I believe in PD.
I spoke to the PDSociety's specialist nurse and she advised me to eat a banana
a day!
Since when, the last three months, I have had only one or two poor nights.

A banana a day keeps the cramps away!

It may be worth a try, besides it's better tasting than medication and may
work for you too!!!

Jonathan

: up is a sudden onset of muscle spasm around my waist, usually after going
: downstairs. It feels as if my waist solidifies, making any bending or
: stretching very painful indeed. This will last for about 1 minute, then will
: disappear for the rest of the day.
