Listfriends, I now know that the reason for debate over DBS (which I apparently stirred up) is site specificity. In other words, the FDA HAS approved dbs for the globus pallidus and the thalamus, but not the sub-thalamic nucleus. I want you all to promise me, right now, that the second, that's right - the very second - the FDA approves this procedure, you will let me know. Love you all, Jacob Drollinger Jr.
