Also, Wendy, just a thought about getting PD in front of the public.  Picture
this-a large group of people in a room (all races, both genders, and various
ages).  Some standing, some sitting in chairs, some in wheel chairs.  Ask
which of these people in this group have Parkinson's Disease?  The entire time
the camera is panning the group, state some facts about PD.  Things the
audience would not know.  Give the audience a brief period of time.   Have the
ones in the Group with PD raise their arms. Have all different people, young,
mid-age, older-black, white, Hispanic, etc.
Then put in a witty/informative saying ie"Young people do get PD as well as
older."
Or I'm sure something better may fit.
