I agree with Tim Hodgens' reply to Dawn's questions about her experiences with the specialists--it can be maddening to feel one is only seen "piecemeal"! Is it possible to give a busy doc TOO MUCH info? Maybe! The idea of a program to organize the info in easily accessible form makes a lot of sense. I have no personal experience with Mayo, but they SHOULD be able to provide an *integrated* approach, and excellent guidelines for requesting this were offered, too, in another response. You probably can't be SURE of a less fragmented approach at Mayo, but at least you could start out there making it very clear that this was what you needed/wanted. I would think in addition to your own detailed records you'd want at least a summary from each of your docs of what they did , how they saw the problems, etc. Good luck--and let us know what happens.
