Dear Trish,
For the best effect, Sinemet CR should be taken 30-45 minutes before meals, just
like regular Sinemet. If your Dad  has nausea with Sinemet, he can take it with
meals, but it will not be as effective, as the food will slow down its early
absorption.

If your Dad is experiencing on-off fluctuations, it would be best for him to take
CR prior to meals.
