Hi I had the GI symptoms and swelling of the ankles prior to Mirapex by about 2 years. Was on Sinemet at that time. Had all of the cardio tests done and the answer was there is just not enough muscle tone to move the blood along in the leg.....so PD related. Rita Weeks
