My thanks to those kind people who have written in with helpful suggestions for solving my suspender buttons problem. I am now looking for help with another domestic problem. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get back on the good side of a wife whose entire comment on the whole issue was "Buttons for braces - I can do that - all you had to do is ask". So it looks as if I'll be giving the "wide ones" a try - I'm not brave enough or foolish enough not to. Dennis
