Hi Again I would suggest you phone the NPF (National Parkinson's Foundation) @ 1-800-327-4545. They are located in Miami but I am sure they can give you the name of a movement disorder specialist. You may have to go into NYC, but it is well worth the effort. In my opinion, for what that is worth, it is absolutely essential to see this kind of doctor. Do not use a GP or a regular neurologist. It sometimes takes quite a while to get the right medications and correct dosage. Work with your neurologist. Keep a diary of your aunt's reaction to her medications. It will take the two of them to solve the problems. Make notes of all her ups and downs including the time of day. This 'aint' a pleasant disease, but your Aunt can learn to live with it.
