Dear Barb Rager,

Congratulations on your contribution to the list, "Another Story." So
well written and full of human emotion, of which in my opnion, a lot of
stories are lacking. You should send it into a magazine for publishing.

It again reminded me as to how important it is to let your partner know
regularly how you feel about them. So I wrote the following poem for my
wife. Hope you like it and also anyone else reading it.

How do I say the words
Again your heart to touch,
To whisper gently in your ear
My love for you is such,
That when you’re close beside me
My emotions start to flow,
I so long to hold you tightly
And never let you go.
To be entwined again
With you in love’s embrace,
A locked and private world
With a future yet to trace.

But you and I know
That the game we call life,
With it’s mountains and valleys,
Has both laughter and strife.
So we’ll find strength together,
Healing wounds memories cast.
Live each day for the future,
Not locked in the past.
And when Parkinson’s strikes
 To make our lives rearrange,
We’ll know deep inside
Our love will not change.
