        Dad has problems with falling, although he usually does it when going
backward or sideways. He can usually roll himself into a ball, like when a
gymnast does a somersault. This protects his head, but his back and hips
really get it hard.
        I think that one of the first things they teach you in martial arts classes
is the "art" of falling. Maybe a physical therapist would also be able to
teach you to fall so that you don't hurt yourself. Trish
