I was desperate and some of the encounters I = had with the world of medicine will be the subject of a story, some day. = Then I met my neurologist, whom I love with all my heart (telling that = story would be a pleasure.) I trust her, and she includes me openly and = patiently in all her decisions about medication. She has assured me she'll be with me throughout this whole adventure. = I have no intention of leaving her or her appropriate treatment to = follow another lead. But this morning I met a doctor of homeopathy. = We talked for about 1 1/2 hrs. and I have to say I'm impressed. I liked = his manner, his knowledge, his honesty and his prediction of success. = He told me he had treated Parkinson's patients before and in every case = there has been a major reduction in symptoms. He says I do not have to, = nor will he ever suggest, that I stop taking my PD medication. He was = glad to hear of my positive and understanding relationship I have with = my neurologist. I am, however, willing to give this homeopathic option = a shot. I think the least of it will be that whatever happens it = certainly can't hurt. But I'm asking you, any who have had experiences = with homeopathy, do I dare hope for a (I don't know) an arrest of the = progress of the symptoms? Can I let myself hope at all for anything? His claim is that all illness is triggered by trauma: this could be = physical, emotional, psychological etc. So basically he's covering just = about everything from dirty well water to a car crash. It seems that = while I may have dealt with these traumas, there is still some residue = which is triggering this illness. What do you think, friends? I'll = chronicle my experience with him, and if it helps I'll let you all know. = But I would also like to know of your experiences.
