Hi Everyone, Just wanted to remind "old-timers" and inform new list subscribers that the American Parkinsons Disease Association has a national Young-Onset PD Information & Referral Center which offers many resources to the younger person with PD and their families and friends. Just a few of the free services include: the Young Parkinson's Handbook, the Young Parkinson's Newsletter, the Person to Person Program (the opportunity to have one-to-one contact by telephone or correspondence with other young people with PD), referral to a young PD support group or help in starting your own group, many resources geared to the specific concerns of young people, a video and book lending library, a center coordinator who is an RN and a social worker (Susan Reese) who is available, along with her staff, to answer questions and guide you to appropriate resources or referrals. To learn more about what is available to young PWPs and their families call 1/800-223-9776 or email APDA [log in to unmask] We look forward to hearing from you :-) APDA Young Parkinson's Information & Referral Center Staff
