John, Five years ago my husband was diagonsed with PD and because he had never taken any sinemet he was a good candidate for the Pramipexole testing program. As I recall, it was quite soon after he started taking Mirapex, as it is now called, that he seemed to just blossom out in front. It has remained that way to this day. He has gained about 20 lbs in those five years. I feel confident that it was the Mirapex that caused this swelling because it happened so rapidly. Hope this will be useful for your survey.
