One thing we all have to keep in mind is that funding
>for the Udall Act is not necessarily an "all or nothing" proposition --
>it is a dynamic and fluid process requiring both a constant focus on our
>ultimate goal and continual minor adjustments to the changes in the
>immediate political environment.
THIS WAS PART OF MY POINT OF LAST WEEK, BUT SAID HERE SOOO MUCH BETTER.

IT IS EXACTLY HOW THIS COUNTRY WON THE COLD WAR AGAINST THE SOVIET UNION -
WE LOST SOME OF THE BATTLES, INCLUDING VIETNAM, BUT IN THE END WE WORE THEM
DOWN AND WON THAT COLD WAR. WE CERTAINLY HAVE SMARTER LEADERS NOW RUNNING
THIS BATTLE THAN THE NATION DID BACK DURING THAT VIETNAM ERA, THOUGH, SO
"THE BATTLE FOR UDALL FUNDING" COULD BE A DECISIVE ONE!!! .

Ah, I guess that's kind of a long campaign slogan. But, what the heck - I'm
not running for anything....
