My mother (73/3) has recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis. Her
score on the CT bone density study was 4 standard deviations below the
mean of 35 year old bones. Osteoporosis is defined as 2.5 standard
deviations below the 35 year old score.

Her doctor has recommended that she take Fosamax (10 mg a day).

She is already taking
sinemet 25/100-4 times a day
premarin (estrogen replacement) .625-once a day
medroxyprog Ace (goes with estrogen replacement)-5 mg a day

She wants to know if anyone on the list has had experience taking sinemet
with fosamax and what problems (if any) they had.

She'd also like any information about managing PD and osteoporosis
together.

Thanks

Jane (daughter with 42 year old bones)

We both read the list!!
