Greetings, Comments on two unrelated items: 1) Collagen injection. I just returned home from UCLA last mite, where I got a collagen injection from Dr. Gerald Berke. It worked extremely well. My wife said I sound like a young man and my daughter remarked that I sounded like I had ten years ago on a home video she had recently watched (the video was done shortly before my PD diagnosis). That was music to my ears. Frankly, my voice was getting so weak I came close to quitting work and going on disability leave. Before the trip to LA, I posted a message to you all to the effect that I was getting tired of sounding like Donald Duck. Well, the moral of this story is that California is a lot more than the home of Donald Duck and Bugs Bunny. For this PD'ite, it's the home of a medical school and a team of people (Dr. Berke, Dr. Bruce Gerratt and Kathi Jackson, RN) who made a significant difference in my life. 2) Tasmar. For what it may (or may not) be worth, my experience with Tasmar was pretty negative. The only noticeable effect was that it made me extremely tired. George L. Bousliman
