It was announced on the news today that President
Clinton has ordered one hundred million dollars be
RELEASED IMMEDIATELY in order to provide fans,
and other devices to those who are suffering from the
heat and who are unable to afford such aids.

Nation-wide, over 100 persons have died from heat-related
problems, and lower-income individuals apparently haven't
been able to purchase fans.

Admittedly the heat has been horrendous, but it WILL
go away within a couple of months. PARKINSON'S will
NOT go away during this period, and that hundred million
was promised for Parkinson's research by LAW many
months before the advent of summer with it's attendant heat.

We have summer EVERY year! This isn't a big surprise
to anyone! It gets miserably hot every summer in parts
of the country. But after summer comes fall and winter
and as sure as night follows day, it DOES become cooler
except in Maine, where it becomes downright COLD!) <grin>

When those fans are put away for 9 months of the
year PARKINSON'S is STILL going to be here! People will
continue to suffer and to die from Parkinson's no matter
WHAT the weather's like!

Please FUND THE UDALL BILL and provide the
MANDATED-BY-LAW one hundred millions dollars for
Parkinson's Disease research!!! Do that because when
you have Parkinson's, you can't put IT away in the closet
for 9 months of the year - Parkinson's ALWAYS makes
you feel rotten, and then it makes you feel even WORSE!
