Sue,
Your husband describes it perfectly.  That was one of the first symptoms
I had, 20 years ago ( along with shrinkng, disappearing handwriting) And
I couldnt get anyone to understand what I meant then.   I still get that
feeling sometimes - the hiatus between "on" and "off"  I liken  it in my
arms to the feeling you get when you finally put down the heavy parcels
you have been carrying all over the mall - and your hands feel weak and
shaky....  I used to complain that I just didn't know where to put
myself.... But your husband describes it so much better - so that I can
identify with him immediately, even after twenty years!
