A smashed school is a pretty black & white issue, Gail. Nope. This is a
crisis I am not going to participate in, and I encourage everyone else to
take the same position. Let the nerds who created this problem & their
offspring, fix it. And government. Big government is supposed to protect
us. That's what we pay them the big bucks for. Let them handle. it. Unless,
of course I can get one of those $200/hr jobs that Bob Aniabal mentioned -
in Hawaii - next winter.

Just say NO to all this fix-it-yourself hype. And don't feel guilty. A
large majority of computer users are not troubleshooters. I am not going to
read even one of those www sites. I sit in front of this computer 12 - 14
hrs a day as it is, & it's given me a backache. We've got 6 PC's in this
family. 3 could get stolen tomorrow & no one would care. The other 3 are
all mail order and came with everything you need on CD-ROM. And if a whole
bunch of other stuff doesn't work - who cares. Just lie back & enjoy it.
I think I am probably as much a survivalist as you are, Gail. But the way
to test your mettle on this one is to do nothing. If we don't do so well it
might serve as an important example for more important threats....

...like Monica Lewinski. This thing does need to be investigated. How could
they have been
so stupid? Maybe Kenneth Starr willl be available by then, having just put
the last Clinton in jail upon Chelsea's conviction for purgery and
obstruction of justice.
