List Members, Something to think about: * Eli Lilly spends about $1.5 Billion per year on R&D (that is Billion with a B). * Annual Sales are about $9.0 Billion * Net income is about $2 Billion annually * Permax accounts for 1% of revenue ($100 million) * Permax sales are up 11% - pretty good growth-about the same as Prozac growth and better than Humulin (insulin product) which is only 3% This one little pharmaceutical company's numbers dwarfs the $100 million we are concerned about the government spending. I think we would be better off lobbying Lilly, Hoffman-LaRoche, Merck et al. Just a thought. Have a good day. Larry [log in to unmask] http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/f/l/e/Lawrence-R-Fleming/
