Hello Barb and others,

One of the centers in the brain that is responsible for or has a role in
certain "feelings", "emotions", etc. is the thalamus (or parts of the
thalamus). Since the thalamus (or parts of the thalamus) is involved in PD,
it is logical that more or less severe emotional reactions will occur as an
inherent symptom of PD itself.
