To reply about the great video that you were part of and that was shown at the PAN Forum.It was also shown last month at MIchigan's state mtg. for support groups. The Bences were there and ,of course, it had a tremendous impact.At the same time I spoke about the PAN FORUM.Mainly,tho,an attempt was made to get people involved in advocacy,which was the theme of the state mtg.,for the Udall Bill. For what it's worth some of the suggestions that I made were for people to get their families,friends,etc. involved that we have to broaden are base in order to have an impact.This could be done thru religious associations,clubs,hobby,vocational,professional groups,etc.They could call,fax,write--it didn't matter as long as their Senators and Congressman knew that they want full direct funding for the Udall Bill. It's a given that not everyone connected with Parkinsons is able to do some of this-but others can do this for them. Another approach was to visit their Senators and Congressman while they are on recess. It might also be possible to connect with meetings they might be having that are open to the public. The latter might even have press coverage. To know their schedules you can call their offices and speak to their schedulers. Well I kind of got off on a tangent,but Udall means so much to all of us. The Bences,I think, got their copy from the company that produced the video.They are not on the internet,but if this doesn't help let me know and I'll call them. Lorraine Jeffe
