In response to the Y2K situation--I would rather be prepared than to wait until the last minute and realize something needs to be done, but it is too late. From everything I have read and heard, not enough of us are taking this seriously. We have the mentality in this nation especially, that someone will take care if it, so why worry? I'm glad that there are some out there who are not sitting around waiting to see what will happen, but are trying to avert disaster. Even if it never happens! Thanks Phil and the rest of you are being cautious about this situation. I did not read paranoia into anything that has been written on this listserv.
