Lisa Millen wrote From: "l.rauha" <[log in to unmask]> Subject: Ali and Jacobson resonance machine Just learned from the local newspaper that Ali is (was?) being treated with dr. Jerry Jacobsons (retired dentist and oral surgeon) resonance machine, which emits a weak magnetic field. Quote from the Champ (according to the Palm Beach Post):"I've been to 15 different doctors. None of them have been able to do anything." This seems to be the same machine that was being developed by Pioneer Intern Services which was the subject of a Stock Advisory News Letter report some time ago. I give an extract of this below, but if anyone would like a copy of the full report I'll be pleased to send this off list as it is rather long:- PIONEER SERVICES INTERNATIONAL, LTD. One relatively new procedure that is beginning to make inroads on the medical front is bioelectromagentics. For over eight years, thousands of people have been successfully treated for Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Parkinson's Disease, and cancer in Greece and in China with electromagnetic fields. You Star Trek fans are familiar with the technology. How often have you seen Doctors Bones McCoy and Beverly Crusher use their electromagnetic gadgets to heal a bone fracture or mend a wound? Investors now have a ground-floor opportunity to invest in a company that is headed by the "godfather" of bioelectromagnetics; is at the vanguard of this cutting edge technology; has captured the interest of the Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott's office and NASA's Technology Transfer Office: has on its board of directors a former President of the Nobel Assembly of Medicine; and could see its revenues soar from zero to $7.5 million during 1997. The company is PIONEER SERVICES INTERNATIONAL, LTD. (OTC BULLETIN BOARD: PSVC). Every person has a magnetic profile, with each part of their body having a specific energy field, but illness can alter the magnetic pattern. Enter Dr. Jerry Jacobson, Pioneer's president and the inventor of the Jacobson Resonance machine. Based on Jacobson Resonance, a weak electromagnetic field restores the structural integrity of the damaged molecules and normalizes the magnetic field. This is not Star Trek technology of the 24th century. It is happening now, and it is real; and unlike many biotech ventures, which only promise hopes of curing a few diseases, Pioneer's bioelectromagnetic treatment could possibly be utilized in almost every facet of medicine. The company is nearing the end of its R&D phase and should begin marketing in early 1997. Pioneer's market seems unlimited and so does its revenue potential. COMPANY BACKGROUND Pioneer Services International was formed in mid 1996 as a biotechnology startup company. However, unlike most startups, Pioneer has been able to hit the ground running, thanks to its president, Dr. Jerry Jacobson, the inventor of proprietary technology in the field of bioelectrogmagnetics. The company, through Dr. Jacobson's efforts, is developing an electromagnetic machine that has widescale applications including treatment for neurological disorders such as Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy, and Multiple Sclerosis. Other applications are for the treatment of AIDS, cancer, bone fractures, Rheumatoid Osteo Arthritis, head injuries, pain elimination, and therapeutics. Basically, the electromagnetic procedure invented by Dr. Jacobson could be used in almost all areas of medicine. The science of bioelectromagnetics can be traced back several thousand years to when ancient cultures used magnetite to treat rheumatoid arthritis, wounds, and tremor. The electric eel was used in ancient Greece for its curative capabilities. Since then, of course, the science has matured greatly. Scientists from around the world have experienced varying degrees of success in several areas of treatment. In Greece, bioelectrogmagnetics was used to treat more than 400 patients suffering from the types of neurological disorders mentioned above; and, in China, physicians treated in excess of 8,000 cancer patients during an eight-year period which resulted in five-year remission rates of 50% to 60%. More significantly, the HIV virus was neutralized in human blood studies at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, New York University, and Cornell Medical School. As stated, these doctors and scientists have had varying degrees of success, but the exact equation for consistent results had not been determined until now. After spending almost 20 years in research and development in bioelectromagnetics, Dr. Jacobson has been able to refine the specific levels of the electromagnetic field required, resulting in a patented medical application for his equation, which is: mc2 =Bvlq, also known as Jacobson Resonance. For you physics buffs, "m" is inertial mass, "mc2" refers to the intrinsic energy of the mass, "B" is magnetic flux density, "v" is inertial velocity, "l" is the length of body or cell, and "q" represents a unit of electrical charge. Jacobson Resonance is now more than just an equation written on a piece of paper. On December 3, 1996, Pioneer announced it had entered into a contract with the Mississippi Enterprise for Technology (representing the State of Mississippi), which is located at the Stennis Space Center. The Enterprise has engaged the Lockheed Martin Prototype Laboratory, a NASA contractor, to build the Jacobson Resonator Prototype. The prototype should be completed in February, 1997, and marketing should commence by the end of the first quarter. NASA? Mississippi Enterprise for Technology? What did Pioneer do, wave a magic wand? Following an inquiry to the office of Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott, Dr. Jacobson was introduced to officials of the Enterprise at the Stennis Space Center as well as the University of Mississippi and NASA's Technology Transfer Office. The introductions arranged by Senator Lott's office were done in the hope that Dr. Jacobson would establish his manufacturing facilities in Mississippi. Of note is that Pioneer is only one of eleven businesses, to date, to receive backing from the Enterprise. Not only is Jacobson Resonance garnering political muscle, it has received widespread support throughout the medical community, evidenced by recent appointments of two highly visible scientists to Pioneer's board of directors. One is Dr. Bjorn W. Nordenstrom, of Sweden, a former president of the Nobel Committee for Medicine and Physiology, and the inventor of such well-known procedures as balloon catherizations and needle biopsies. He also discovered biologically closed electrical circuits in the human body and applied this to an electrochemical treatment for cancer. The other person is Dr. William Yamanashi, Professor of Medical Physics Research, Department of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma. Among his many achievements and credentials, he holds several patents in the medical and electromechanical fields. After the machines are developed, the next step is FDA approval, but Pioneer, unlike most biotech companies, will not have to wait for the agency's go-ahead in order to start marketing the Jacobson Resonators. Yes, the company will have to undergo all the usual clinical trials required by the FDA, but the approval process should be substantially shorter than normal since the machine is a non-invasive medical device; maybe a year's wait. In the meantime, Pioneer will market its products overseas, and even in the United States. The marketing program for leasing the machines will focus on the European, Central and South American, and Caribbean markets for treatment of diseases, primarily neurological disorders while initially the U.S. marketing will concentrate on the leisure industry. Incidentally, the company plans to open 10 treatment centers within a few hours flight time of the U.S. in order to encourage treatment visits from U.S. clients wishing treatment prior to FDA approval. These centers will be opened in partnership with medical practitioners at the various locations. Beginning early to mid 1997, Pioneer feels it can manufacture and distribute between 1,200 to 1,500 Jacobson Resonators a month. Depending upon the type of machine and its usage, each machine will generate between $1,000 to $6,000 annually in leasing or licensing fees. The company believes that it can realize revenues of at least $7.5 million during 1997. Pioneer is a company that has come a long way in a very short period of time. If it even attains half of its 1997 projections, it will have achieved what very few biotech startups have been able to do - show significant revenues after only one year of operations. The company's address is Pioneer Services International, Ltd., Suite 318, 1761 West Hillsboro Blvd., Deerfield Beach, FL 33442, Phone 954-725-8383; fax: 954-725-9501. Web address: http://www.netcom.com/~ppc/pioneer.html MANAGEMENT Dr. Jerry L. Jacobson, President, is a widely recognized biophysicist and theoretical physicist, who has spent most of the last 20 years developing and patenting medical applications for his equation known as Jacobson's Resonance. He has numerous patents in the U.S. and in 80 other countries. Additionally, Dr. Jacobson has written over 58 articles in professional journals and has authored 20 books. His education includes a D.D.S., a D.M.D., and a Ph. D. in Physics, from Temple University. Stephen Brodsky, Director of Operations, has been the owner and president of several successful distribution companies. In recent years, he was the broker and owner of Action Business Sales, in Deerfield Beach, FL. Also, we cannot over emphasize the importance of the two recent additions to the Pioneer board of directors, Doctors Nordenstrom and Yamanashi. Both gentlemen will be very instrumental in the development and distribution of the company's technology. Unfortunately, I believe that in spite of the all of the "hype" given above, the company no longer exists, but the treatment is on similar lines to that offered by Dr. Reuven Sandyk who has a clinic in the New York area - living in the UK it is difficult for me to keep track of these things. There are a number of references to Dr Sandyk in the Parkinsn List Archives, but if any would like these, and has difficulty in retrieving them, I shall be pleased to send them off list With best wishes to you all Ray ([log in to unmask])
