Here is my info to pass along. I have been taking Sinemet and Permax since
Jan 98. About 1 mouth ago I noticed that my feet and legs were swelling and
they had a discoloration. It really started as a rash under the skin. Almost
like a black/blue mark on the part of my feet that bends up. It also hurts, a
painful hurt. None of the Drs are willing to say that it is their
responsibility. I pressed the Psy and he said It was not his problem but was
willing to give me diruetic (sp) (no spell checker to say dietician). He was
going to try and work with the other 2 drs (big of them all) and see if they
could figure out what it is.
Started with small marks like black/blue marks. That turned to a prickly type
rash. Now the legs turn bright red (even when I elevate) and the feet turn
bright red, they are swollen and they hurt with stabbing pains. Usually cold
(legs/feet) sometimes they turn red and they are so hot to the touch. The
toes are numb sometimes, but the most noticeable thing is I feel like I have
kneehighs on all the time. Big saggy one, feel like they are falling down all
the time. Also, the skin is tight and shiney.
I hope this gives my info and if Anne's doctor can diagnose my problem I would
be grateful. LOL
