This mailing came to me through the Parkinson Alliance
site, from someone who is not on the list. If you can
help her with the information she is seeking, please
write directly to her, not to me or the list (or just
CC it to the list). Thanks, Jerry

Subject: need info

Dear Sirs:

My aunt has Parkinson's and has had this for over 15
years as far as we
can tell. In the last few years it has become much
more obvious. She
is unable to do things and has gotten to the point
where we must
consider having a full-time care giver. I am trying to
find information
on products and clothing that can make her life
easier. She has to wear
support hose and in her present condition there is no
way she can put
them on. She insists on doing most things herself and
she should but
there must be some aides that can make that possible.
I am also trying
to find clothing that velcro's instead of buttons that
are had to
manage. Materials that are slick so she can move in
and out of the car
easier, and walking aides that she can manage. She
tends to fall a lot
because of a low blood pressure problem brought on by
her newest
medication, so having a walking aide that would make
her feel more
stable would be great. I hope I am not asking for the
moon, but I don't
know where to search anymore...thanks for any help you
can give,

Sincerely,
Lori Rai
