I asked Ms Orvis to send me this information again.

Researchers at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City are
conducting a research project on the genetics of PD. The causes of PD
are currently unknown. We believe there may genetic factors that play a
role in its development. We do not yet know to what extent environmental
factors such as diet, smoking, or other lifestyle factors are important
for development of PD. Although we collect some basic environmental
information, our main goal is to determine the genetic risk factors . In
order to do this, participants are asked to supply information about
their family tree. Once this information is reviewed by our staff we may
wish to peruse is reviewed by our staff we may wish to peruse your
family further. This would include: donating a blood sample, sending
copies of your medical records, and completing various questionnaires.
ALL OF THIS CAN BE DONE THROUGH THE MAIL. We have participants from all
over the country! Also,we provide most of the supplies and will
reimburse you for any costs you might accrue as a participant. IN ORDER
TO PARTICIPATE YOUR FAMILY MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 MEMBERS WITH

I think this is worthwhile and extremely important .We just called Ms
Orvis and told her about the two brothers and were accepted. I that
if you fit the criteria that you call also. Remember this is EDT and
that people in hospitals have varying lunch times. My husband was able
to give her enough of the medical history over the phone ( MD). If you
miss Ms. Orvis keep trying. they my husband and our chidden, my brother
in law and his children. It took very little time and no expense at all.
