Barb, first, I want to add my thanks to Camilla for the list of PD organizations. Since my father passed away in May, we have received letters from the various PD organizations that people have made donations in his name. I was wondering how they found out where to send the donations and realized, at least some of them may have been informed by the funeral director. I have not confirmed this, but it makes sense. I suggest that when arranging a funeral, and placing an announcement in the newspaper, donations to the Parkinson's organization of one's choice should be suggested. The funeral director should be informed of which one, and the address, etc. It is not a pleasant subject, but it could hasten the cure and help some PWP's in the meantime. [log in to unmask]
