Hi All,

It has been awhile since I posted, but except for being 20 or 30
digests behind, I am up to date. Does that make any sense?

While visiting my brother in upper NY state early last month, I was
amazed at the amount of energy and "on" time he has in the morning
before taking any medication. He has the insomnia that many of you
have and daily rises at a very early hour as he has finished sleeping
for the night.

He first goes to his exercise room and works out for about 45 minutes
and then, at least while I was visiting, proceeds to the kitchen to
bake. On successive mornings I awoke to the wonderful aroma of
homemade strawberry pie, lemon meringue pie, bran muffins, corn bread
and raspberry buckle. His wife says he does this on a regular basis,
and if there is time before the rest of the household awakes, he
throws in a few loads of laundry. I returned home with a suitcase of
clean clothes!

He follows this with a time of meditation. But later in the day, he
has his "off" time and has recently started, for lack of a better way
of phrasing it - to trip over his own feet. He doesn't quite fall,
but I wonder if that is coming. For those of you who do fall, was it
preceded by a period of time when you stumbled only?

He attributes this good time of the day to the mirapex he has been
taking for about 7 months now.
