Barb .. Those mice always mis-behave don't they. People of our parents age group trapped them ... We use them to write. Seriously ... If you can't control the mouse speed in the mouse section of Control Panel you may have to re-load the mouse driver software. It could have gotten corrupted. Have a friend or neighbor close to you make a copy of it on a floppy and load it into the appropriate folder. If not I can e-mail it to you as an attachment file. You have tried cleaning your mouse roller ball havn't you ? Good luck ! Ask if yopu need help...
