Hi everyone,

I'm new to the list and parkinson's. My mom was diagnosed last thursday
with Parkinson's she is 56 years old. She has slowed down so much in
the past few months, is almost constantly exhausted (so unlike my Mom)
shuffles while she walks, rigidity in her neck and back, unfinished
gestures, doesn't have any tremor now, has a hard time eating (she had
bels palsy in 1991 and has shown the effects of that on her face and the
pace she eats and the amount she smiles, I think that kept us from
noticing these more significant changes.) anyway, I'm rambling. I
wish someone could tell us what to expect; how quickly it will progress,
but I am figuring out that's probably impossible as this disease seems
very individual. Thanks for this list and all the information and
advice I'm getting.
