Terry,
My CD diagnosis came nearly a year before the PD diagnosis, and
I was in the pit for some time already. In fact it was the insistance
of my counselor that finally made the gp send me to the
neurologist. She has insisted all along that I have a chemical
imbalance not a "mental problem" and that there are other physical
problems (ie the PD) which add to my depression.

I agree it is so good to know that you are not alone and not
"abnormal" because you are depressed.
My depression usually is me telling me that I am worthless and
unworthy of help and unworthy of living. What a slide that causes.

The help and praise from this list lifts me and keeps me going on.
