Surgery is a severe stressor (anaesthesia, pain, trauma, etc.) and can cause PD symptoms to worsen. With luck, it is temporary, but it can take months to stabilize. My symptoms got worse following surgery too. It took about 6 months to normalize. Wish you best of luck. Try to be patient. Sharon
