I agree with Jeanette that our government (as well as ourselves!) needs to
fund research on PD and many other horrible diseases. We should not allow
our government officials to waste such a great amount of money and time on
frivolous things such as an investigation of the President's personal life.
However, I completely disagree with the "Wag The Dog" ideas. Although
President Clinton may not be a trustworthy as we would like about his
personal life, he remains our president and has made some wonderful choices
in the past few days. Terrorists are a huge problem right now. If we can
prevent a world war three by destroying them now, great!! The
president/government are protecting the American people by destroying those
who threaten us and I am proud to be an American even in the face of all the
scandals. In short, I guess everyone who's reading this should remember
that, yes, I am only 16 (not yet able to vote, drink, smoke, etc, etc, etc),
but that is plenty old enough to see that a person's personal problems need
not interfere with his/her ability to make choices for the best of the
nation.
