Joe       Joe, the squirrels might add a little flavor to the mayo

Darwin eats.

During World War II meat was scarce.  Those of us a few years or more past
60 remember the ration coupons and the "making do' with what we had. My
trusty .22 rifle came in quite handy for putting squirrel meat on the
table.  Ammunition was scarce too, so it was always 1 shot = 1 squirrel and
shoot for the head to minimize meat loss from the shot.  I developed a real
appreciation for Brunswick stew.   I have very little desire to go back to
what we call the good old days.
