I've never been anyone outstanding.
Someone else has always been elected.
Someone else has always been chosen.
The award always went to someone else.
Someone else was more handsome.
Someone else had more money.
Someone else was stronger.

However,
I was born with the luck of the Irish.
I was born with an English solidity that the winds of Hell cannot move.
I learned that if I persist a solution will always be found.
That sometimes being cute is enough.
That good things come to those who work while they wait.
That love is far from blind.
That marriage is a team effort not a partnership.
That failure does not mean a lack of success.
That Aunts and Uncles are Important too.
