I thought the whole idea of taking these drugs was that the levodopa dosage would not have to be increased and in many instances could be decreased, thereby avoiding (or at least, lessening) the dreaded dyskinesias. However, being sensitive to medication myself, I can understand that 100mg might be too high a dosage for your system to handle, especially since one of the side effects of Tasmar is dyskinesia. I was taking only one pill a day, and it nearly turned me inside out, and yes, I had cut way back on the Sinemet. I have no idea whether body weight factors into this or not. I agree that making some of the PD medications in smaller doses would help many of us. If cutting the Tasmar is working for you, I wish you continued success. After all, only YOU know how YOUR system reacts to the drugs and this demon disorder.
