I pass along the message below from Aviva Freedman, culled from a post to Pete Medway and me: By the way, could one or the other of you guys respond to the CASLL listserv (my Exchange e-mail doesn't allow me to do it) with a congratulations to Russ on being honoured. Whatever he has received probably doesn't begin to match what he deserves, but it is a pleasure to see that there is some public recognition of what we all know.
