Christine: My impression is that many Canadian schools do not use MLA job list because they start with a "tier 1" search meaning Canadians first. Only tier 2 searches lead to MLA listings. However, the paltry few rhetoric jobs that emerge each year are usually broadcast here (though I can think of at least two exceptions last year). You might want to subscribe to "University Affairs" which does a pretty good job of listing most Canadian positions, but I haven't a clue how you do that. Anybody else help here? Rob Irish
